About Game:
This colourful, farmyard-themed game is the very first matching and posting game for toddlers. Match the friendly farm animals to their babies and then post them into the 3-Dimensional (3D) barn. With every successful match, players are encouraged to make the noise of the animal on the card, before posting their pair into the 3D barn! With four different ways to play, this game will progress with your child as they further their development.

Featuring ten friendly farm animals and their babies, Farmyard Families encourages observation and memory skills whilst introducing young children to the concept of turn-taking! What’s more, as players post the animals into the barn, they’ll also develop their fine motor skills. Young children will love the bold and colourful illustrations, and the large, chunky cards are ideal for little hands. Designed for ages 2+, Farmyard Families offers an early introduction to fun-based learning.

Game Play

Game 1a: Using Blue and Red Backed Cards Spread all the blue and red backed parent cards, face up, on the table.
Find two cards that look the same.
Post the matching pair into the barn and make the noise of the animal.
Continue playing until all the animals have been posted into the barn.

Game 1b: Using Blue and Red Backed Cards Spread the blue backed parent cards, face down on the table. Deal the red backed parent cards, face up, to all players.
The youngest player starts. Turn over a face down parent card.
If the card matches one of your face up parent cards, make the noise of the animal and post both cards into the barn. Play passes to the next player.
If the card does not match any of your face up cards, show the card to the other players and return it face down to the table. The winner is the first player to post all their cards into the barn. Play passes to the next player.

Game 2a: Using Blue and Yellow backed cards Spread the blue backed parent and yellow backed baby cards, face up, on the table and play as GAME ONE for young players. Find the Farmyard Families by matching parent to baby.

Game 2b: Using Blue and Yellow backed cards
Spread the blue backed parent cards, face down, on the table and deal the yellow backed baby cards, face up, to all the players. Play as GAME ONE for older players, matching parent to baby to find the Farmyard Families.
