How we introduced Catan step by step:

1️⃣ First few plays
Only focused on roads + settlements
No cities. No development cards.
Just understanding placement.

2️⃣ Next step
Added resource generation
What each settlement earns + basic turn-taking

3️⃣ Then came… strategy lite
Introduced trading + negotiation
Keeping it fun, not competitive pressure

4️⃣ Level up
Added cities
Understanding upgrades and better resource flow

5️⃣ Finally
Played a complete game of Catan
All rules. Full experience.
