How to Play Chatpate?
Setup:
Remove the ‘My Turn’ and ‘Bill’ cards from the deck and SHUFFLE the latter.
- Deal 5 cards to each player.
- The player who most recently ate, takes a ‘My Turn’ Card and begins the game.
Gameplay:
Every round commences with the following actions-
- Each Player selects a card and places it face-down on the table. (plate)
- The players reveal their cards in a clockwise direction, starting from the first player.
- Pass the remaining cards-in-hand to the player to the left, including the ‘My Turn’ card. (clockwise)
- The players draw cards from the draw pile till each player holds 5 cards in hand.
Special Cards:
- The players can play special cards like, Chutney, Spoon, Dhakka Mukki, Double Dhamaka and Combo.
- The Special Cards cannot be played for the first 2 rounds of the game.
Ending the Game:
- The game ends when a player plays the ‘Bill’ cards or when the Draw pile ends.
- The player can only play the ‘Bill’ card if they have a ‘Gola’ card on their ‘plate’
*The player with the most points wins.
