The Box & Components:
Memory Race is a card game. It is manufactured with a simple cardboard box which contains the larger group cards and the individual animal cards. The cards are laminated and also have rounded corners which contributed to keep the game kid friendly.
The makers have chosen to focus on animal faces for the graphics. This limits the visual perception of players but has no such effect on the game play.
Gameplay of Memory Race:
Memorize animals on the group card and flip it
– Match them correctly to the animals in your hand
– Continue with the next group card
– Player with the most matched animal cards wins!
Reasons to Love the Game:
Memory Race is very aptly named. The players compete to memorize the animals on group cards and then recall them for scoring points. This game also has negative marking so players will learn to be cautious before selecting their individual cards and not just place all cards for consideration.
The game has an animal theme which is easily recognised and memorized. The players will learn the early stages of risk taking as they judge their cards. Memory Race is a great game for making children learn about animals’ appearance but will be equally enjoyed by all ages.
