SHUFFLE Tips & Tricks for SEQUENCE
Sequence has been one of our most-liked games even before SHUFFLE began its commercial operations. As we are organising a SEQUENCE TOURNAMENT on 4th June, we would love to help our audience play the game like a PRO.
- Observe the Patterns:
Almost all cards on the Sequence board are arranged in an ‘L’, straight or a spiral pattern. Spot the cards quickly to plan your moves.
- Sort Your Hand:
Arrange the cards according to their suits to judge the most profitable Sequence.
- Flexible Strategy:
Plan a secondary move and always be ready to help your teammates.
- Cluster Building:
Capture an area on the board if you don’t immediately see a Sequence forming. One is likely to result in a few rounds.
- Remember to Draw A Card:
Players are supposed to draw a card after each turn. Failure to do so will result in lesser choices for Sequence formation and possible failure.
- Spot The Dead Cards:
Due to the presence of Jacks, both cards of a value may be occupied on the board. Be able to spot those cards so that you can exchange the dead card for a playable one.
- Use your Jacks Wisely:
Depend on your Jacks to complete your Sequence or restrict one of the opponents. Do not waste them to continue the Sequence merely.
- Say NO to Hint-Dropping:
Any help to your teammate beyond that on the board is unfair and you will be penalised for the same.
- Track Your Sequence:
Sometimes, Sequences may not become apparent because you did not mean to build that one. This may especially happen with the diagonal Sequences. Track your Sequences and win the game.
- Keep it Interesting:
Plan your move during the turns of the other players so that you do not stall the game in between. Keep the game going, as stalling also gives your opponents more time to analyse your move.
Remember, Sequence is only a game. It will help you build skills and is a promise of an entertaining time but it is only a game. A loser in one game might be a winner in another.
